E911 service contract awarded to Vixxi Solutions

ISI and DTG awards the E911 service contract to Vixxi Solutions of Dalls, TX. Vixxi is the world leader in emergency service integration technology, currently supporting GM's OnStar emergency services and has leveraged their expertise and technology with the OnStar platform to create a best in class E911 Emergency Response Service. This platform uses an address verification interface in conjunction with a GPS coordinate data base.
Integration with the ISI Dynamic member portal system allows the telephone subscriber to update their address information on a secure web page and receive instant feedback as to the specificity of the address. The address is then passed by vixee to the appropriate PSAP (Public Safety Access Point).
This process virtually ensures that every 911 call from a customer will be routed as an true E911 call and to the correct Emergency Response Agency for the customers address.
